Rachael’s recent photoshoot with longtime collaborator Maxine Bowen, paid homage to the unmistakable 90s; a blend of grunge, meets sleek, monochromatic fashion. They shot in LA’s Downtown Theatre district, framed by LA high rise buildings of old and new.

2022 ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition Semifinalist – Rachael Wotherspoon.

Rachael is excited to announce that one of her recent screenplays has been awarded a Semifinalist placement in ScreenCraft’s 2022 TV Pilot Script Competition, earning her a spot on Coverfly’s Red List.

Rachael advanced to the Quarterfinalist round in November 2021 and she moved into the Semifinals in December 2021. Her TV Pilot script, a female lead Contemporary Horror titled ‘Genesee’, was selected from almost 3,900 submissions.

Rachael is very thankful to ScreenCraft and thrilled to have been selected in this fantastic competition, among a group of exceptionally talented Writers.

Rachael’s latest work in the incredible, true story, ‘The Shrink Next Door’.

The highly anticipated series is out now on Apple TV+, created by Georgia Pritchett and Directed by Michael Showalter, starring Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Kathryn Hahn. The show is based on Joe Nocera’s true crime podcast of the same name.

Rachael Wotherspoon plays the wonderful Morgan Fairchild in Episode 4.

Comedy Series ‘Deliver Ants’ makes its debut on YouTube.

From the creator of acclaimed series ‘202’ Mykell Barlow and award winning director Justin Patten comes a brand new digital comedy series ‘Deliver Ants’. The first Four episodes of Season One have now been released, with hopefully more to come after COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.

‘Aednat’ is Rachael’s entry into Raindance Film Festival’s ‘No Stopping Us’ Short Festival. Aednat – Irish meaning ‘little fire’.

Rachael recently shot with LA based Photographer ‘Dropout Photography‘, on location at a beautiful Mid-Century Modern location in the Hollywood Hills.

The shoot is a short narrative piece inspired by the hazy days of Summer in Old Hollywood, in particular the sixties and seventies, radiating a playful, carefree, independent energy and paying homage to films such as ‘Boogie Nights’, ‘Almost Famous’ and ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’.

Rachael talks to Shoutout LA about what inspires her.
